07

If shipments haven't been processed yet, NRI Shipping may combine them into a single shipment to reduce costs.
08
Will all items ship in one package?
In most cases yes, though shipments may occasionally be split depending on warehouse location or product type.
09
Are there shipping delays during holidays or peak seasons?
Carriers may experience delays during holidays or peak seasons — early submission is recommended.
10
Who pays customs duty on a shipment to India?
Usually the receiver, before delivery. Duty is set by Indian customs based on the contents and declared value, and it isn't included in our quote. We provide an estimate of what your family may be asked to pay before you book.
11
Why do you need my receiver's Aadhaar or PAN?
Indian customs requires the consignee's identity document (Aadhaar, PAN or passport) before releasing an inbound parcel. Collecting it at booking keeps your box moving instead of sitting at the airport. It is stored securely and shared only with customs authorities and the carrier where required.
12
What happens if my shipment is lost or damaged?
Send us photos and proof of value and we open the claim with the carrier and chase it to a decision — you never have to take it up with the courier yourself. Cover is limited to the declared value.
13
What can't I send to India?
Power banks and loose lithium batteries, perfume, aerosols and nail polish, seeds, plants and fresh produce, gold, currency and jewellery, and used electronics without an invoice are the common culprits. One restricted item can hold the entire box — ask us first if you're unsure.
